Oakham Junior Netball Academy

We are delighted to be launching the Oakham Junior Netball Academy for January 2026. The Academy will be headed up by a hugely accomplished and experienced set of coaches led by former Loughborough Lightning Super League winner Lauren Nicholls and former Mavericks and Wasps Super League player Chloe Essam. Nicholls is currently coach of the Nottingham Forest Super League Nxt Gen team, whilst Essam is the new Director of Netball at Oakham School. 

The Academy will offer weekly 1 hour sessions to players in three age groups (Yrs 3-5, Yrs 6-8, and Yrs 9+).

Sessions will focus on developing age and stage specific skills, strategy and game understanding to stand alongside and enhance the opportunities that players are receiving in clubs and schools.
